Yesterday, studied at SPI with Carol. Was "studying hard" for my physics test which I took earlier today. Surprisingly, I found it okay. Maybe it was because there was only Abel, Mr Lim & I in the lab. So, it didnt really feel like a test anyway. Heh.

Anyhow, I think I ate more than i studied yesterday :\ But honestly, I really did try my best to focus & study. Its already a major improvement. Go easy on me alright ? :)

Caught Ratatouille @ Marina Square with my family :) My mum got free tickets from her office. Free popcorn & coke were thrown in too :D Teehee. The movie was pretty okay, I can understand why it was rated five stars. But I guess, I'm just too old for Happily Ever Afters. It always starts with the main character (our hero) and along will come a counterpart (the sidekick or the love interest), things will go pretty smoothly at first. Yada yada. Then comes the calamity; the bend in the road. Most probably heated words will be exchanged, and the characters fall out with each other. They go their separate ways & then ! Suddenly, enlightenment is attained. They realize how foolish they were and they "kiss & make up". Following that, will come the rise after their downfall. And, Hurray ! Happily Ever After. Like I said, there must always be the lowest point. Cause a hero is never a really a hero if he cant overcome trials and tribulations. Hahah.

But all in all, the show was pretty good. Humour.
"Figment of your imagination" Hahah. My favourite line :)

Had swensens with my family after that ! & I think Mat the Fat overate. Cause he kept going to the loo. Justin ended up having to finish all his ice cream. Hahah. I had a "Mighty Nutty" :D T'was yummy :)

Disclaimer. I'm not down with a terrible bout of indigestion. Its a combination of flu, tonsilitis,

Was planning on visiting St Nicks today ! But apparently, there was a massive power failure and
school was cancelled. I find it hard to believe that only St Nicks was hit and the rest of Singapore
is still functioning alright. I suspect its a prank. But if the news could spread to an alumni like
me :O I bet everyone should have heard about it already. All my efforts have come down to
nought. Ahwell, farewell orange bowl, farewell toast stall. Farewell, Mrs Tian, Mrs Tan. I doubt
I'll be able to personally bid you both a final farewell.

so many things have happened in the short few weeks that have passed.

tedja was trying to teach me his method of lying on the table, ziying was telling me to go to the
toilet and let out gas.

yfc is finally over ! all the late nights, the planning, the fun, laughter, frowns, squabbles, stress
and lessons learnt :) whatever it is, it was a great experience :)

26Aug. actstwo session was really funny. cause wirrfred was finally back !! hahah
sam & yvonne only stayed for a short while ): and we had to go round writing nice stuff on each
other's papers (stuck on the back) thats colin me jerome and beatrice. hahah i cant tell you how
hard it was for me to write something nice for colin. he and i are always bickering. and he's the
lamest divorce lawyer ive ever seen. okay, maybe cause he's the only divorce lawyer i know.
hahahh

the new core team has been doing a pretty good job i must say (: i feel closer to my acstwo
community than i was with postcon. the people are exactly the same so dont ask me why this
change of heart.

Last thursday i had indigestion. It was the most hilarious kind. I started having sharp pains in
my tummy slightly before assembly. As i squatted in the hall, i was half laughing, half frowning
due to the severe pain. Everyone was laughing at me. Even the s23 guy, Ngiam Chee Yong >:/

Unluckily, Mark Loh and Mr Goh came to invigilate Ms Lim's chem class. I was struggling to pay
attention. Thankfully, Ms Lim was kind & understanding enough t not expect so much from
me :) She let me off and i didnt have to present my question 7, which i hadnt prepared anyway.
hawhaw.

I suddenly thought of my indigestion cause ive been eating non stop these past few days. I think
i'm the only person on earth who eats twice as much when i'm sick as compared to when i'm
well. I was fully capable of eating lunch when i had indigestion. And i remember on monday, I
was eating my french toast during chem tutorial. & Jo Lynn actually asked me "Laine, thats all
youre eating for breakfast ?" and i looked at her blankly and replied "thats my third one" hah
we both couldnt stop laughing after that.

Yesterday, Kenneth smsed me and said he had actually kept a tong heng eggtart for me ! I was
so touched. But cause i was sick and didnt go to school so i missed out on the good food ):
I bet he gave it to Wendy or maybe ate it all up by himself ): Grah.

One thing's for sure, I am the greediest girl on earth.
Heh.

first day of finals,
i did a pretty lousy time for my individual fiftyback. i think it was due to the lack of sleep from
the night before, but ah, heck. on the otherhand, i was really proud of nette ! she came in second
for IM & third for her fifty fly. and they were back to back events :DDDDD sophie, alicia & i
were cheering like mad. and though she treated me like a slave, she's very well forgiven :) hahah

subway for lunch ! :D i barely ate (which is so unlike me) so i packed it as takeaway.
met nette and her ac team there and she insisted on taking out "gay sign" pose. hahah
the gay bestfriends.

afternoon, my slipper broke ! ): but thankfully, my brother brought another pair for me :D
& i saw cheet ! :D hahah i think she came to support her cj team.
anyhow, relay was good. we came in third :D
after my swim, i ran over to the stnicks side, to sing mrs tan her happy birthday song :)
&amp;amp;amp;& then, i had to run all the way back to the podium to receive my medal.
&&& right after i received my medal, i saw brendan ! :D
hahahha, i started jumping up& down like mad
to martin, irwin & brendan: thank you oh so much for coming :)

second day of finals.
wanda was stressing cause she counted the points & we were kinda trailing sa by that wee bit.
i had 100back and that was a greater cause of worry. but thankfully, i came in fifth :)
much to sam's dismay and uhh whatever you can call it. hahah
there was an interval before relay and alicia chew xuan sophie & i were going camera crazy.
(whats new right?) hahah. && i was so excited when i saw jean, cheryl & STEFFI !! :DDDD
at first, i cldnt even recognise steffi. she's so sexy, its unbelievable. hahahah
thereafter, there was a performance by national synchro siwmming.
theyre cool :D and i'm proud to say, i KNOW CHERYL SEAH ! hahah

relay, we came in third again !
& i was so happy that ac owned (whooped) rj's ass at both relays :D woots !

but in life, all good things have to come to an end.
and as we feared, we didnt come in fourth this year.
wanda started crying, and then i started crying too. cause it suddenly sunk in, that i'd be the
only girl left on the team ! with ale wanda and mel going to go, and steffi long gone.
WHAT WAS I GONNA DO ? ):
took us some time to calm down. and when i walked over to the grandstand, i was dunked into
the pool by rachel lim something wen. hahah (i cant remember her chinese name) she didnt
even give me a chance to take off my jacket. ASS. and then it started. the annual dunking. first
wanda, then bo yuan then ale and then everyone. hahahha. it took us pretty long to settle down
and take our team photo. lol





went to wanda's hse to shower, and her mum gave us a ride to town after that.
we had team dinner at seoul garden (taka) and steffi, wanda ale & i shared a hot pot.
according to them, i cldnt cook for nuts. which honestly, isnt true !
but of course, since all of us were hoping so badly to pont school the next day, i didnt mind
eating all that uncooked/half cooked food, in the hope of getting food poisoning.. hahah
okay, to sum everything up, i had great fun, and alot of laughs.
and the qoute of the century goes to, steffi: " i'm so cute, i scare myself"

anyhow, it was really funny when we were reporting for 100 back yesterday.
me, the very smart me. realised that there were only 9 people present for our 100back
event cause chen tingting had chicken pox to begin with. then i started having that wee bit
of hope that the CJ girl would pull out, so it'd be straight finals & then we wont have to swim !
:DDD but of course, men proposes but heaven disposes. ah bummed.


went to school for pw workshop today.
it wasnt as boring as i expected but anything to do with school just sucks all the happiness out of me. like a death eater. hahah but still, it was good seeing my classmates after sucha longtime ! :D oh and sha is the sweetest : ) she gave me these ! (postcards below) she said she picked these up to encourage me for my swimming. & the fat man is her favourite. hahahah :)

oh highlight of today's meet was the disqualification of (B BOYS) ri and ac(i) and (A BOYS) ac(i).
i think it was really stupid. for b boys, those two schools are top two. and not just top two by a bit. they were like leading by a mile. and they threw it all away. 9/7 points. GONE. so stupid. and they even broke the record by TWO SECONDS.

as for A boys, hah. super wasted.
before the race, uncle puay kheng asked me, "who do you think will win"
"of course ac(i)"
"but they sent their second best"
"glares. what second best ?! its zach, fraser, nicholas tan and nick chew. they are the best"

& guess what, ac won. and i was glad because, rj girls are going to own. so i was hoping the ac

decided to take a look & minutes later she was leading us to the back of the block of flats, to this
really ulu stairway. sophie & i started to panic and had horror thoughts of her trying to abduct
us :O then sophie came up with some bullshit excuses about being afraid of the dark and
whatnot & the aunty said (in chinese) "wo bu hui sha ni !" :O i suspect she heard us mention
something abt abducting. hahah THANKFULLY, we managed to run away. well, more
like walked very quickly. hahah and i was trying very hard not to laugh. teehee
